The Benton Cemetery

Benton Cemetery looking east toward Blind Spring hill, part of the Benton Range. Silver was found in this hill in 1864 . That discovery helped to create the towns of Benton and Partzwick.
The cemetery is maintained by the Historic Benton Hot Springs nonprofit, which also supports ongoing anthropological research here . The graves of several notable “residents” have been marked with brass plaques provided by the nonprofit.
